The alarm management system is a part of the intelligent chemical plant construction of Changqing ethane to ethylene project of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company. Since the system was put into operation, the daily alarm analysis daily has been produced, the alarm quantity and causes of each device have been analyzed, and the alarm treatment method has been recommended, which has played an important role in reducing production risk, improving quality and increasing efficiency.


The Changqing ethane-to-ethylene intelligent chemical plant project integrates automatic production, integrated application, fine management, visual monitoring and rational scheduling organically through the support of automatic control, new sensors, edge computing and information system. The overall intelligent maturity of the plant has basically reached level 4.


The use of artificial intelligence and industrial big data for real-time calculation and analysis of equipment health operation status, intelligent diagnosis and early warning of faults is a highlight of the intelligent equipment system of Changqing ethane-to-ethylene project. Especially through the real-time simulation of equipment digital twins, the early warning accuracy is more than 95%. Compared with the traditional production mode of refining and chemical enterprises, the intelligent equipment system replaces periodic maintenance and fault maintenance with predictive maintenance, the fault location efficiency is improved from small hours to minutes, and the gradual fault identification rate of moving equipment is up to 100%. The reliability of equipment has been improved by more than 20%, and the cost of equipment inspection and maintenance has been reduced by 10%.


The intelligent instrument system of Changqing ethane-to-ethylene project realizes on-line real-time fault early warning, automatic diagnosis, unattended and remote adjustment, which enables maintenance personnel to change their energy from daily inspection, maintenance and maintenance to the use of intelligent system to realize instrument monitoring, fault diagnosis and remote control, model optimization and professional control. After the intelligent instrument system is put into operation, the availability of the instrument is more than 99%. Accurate alarm management and cause analysis data help technicians improve the efficiency of instrument maintenance, and the efficiency of daily inspection of employees is increased by more than 90%.


Big data and cloud computing (paas platform) are used in production, relying on three-dimensional digital twinning, integrating OT systems such as equipment condition monitoring, intelligent instruments and smart grid, and IT systems such as ERP, EAM, job management, to realize intelligent closed-loop management of visual comprehensive monitoring of equipment, coordination of planning, inspection and maintenance scheduling, comprehensive statistics and KPI analysis.


The project builds an enterprise intelligent operation platform, realizes the data integration and integration of OT, IT and ET, forms enterprise data assets, and promotes the automatic data flow between the project and Lanzhou Petrochemical Company and Group Refining and Chemical Industry Cloud platform. At the same time, it has accumulated experience for exploring the digital transfer and digital twin path of newly-built refining and chemical enterprises.
