On November 27th, the reporter learned from Jilin Petrochemical that the good news of the 600,000 tons/year ABS project of Jihua (Jieyang) has been spread frequently, and the production processes of condensation drying and mixing units of ABS plant have been opened one after another. The "wet extrusion" process adopted for the first time has been successfully put into use, and the trial run of the plant material has made significant progress in stages.

In the design of Jieyang project, the "dry+wet" double-line production mode was innovatively selected, and the international advanced "wet extrusion" process was adopted for the first time, which not only reduced the investment, reduced the production cost, improved the operating environment, but also improved the whiteness of products, reduced the unreacted residual monomer content in ABS resin, and improved the product quality.

On November 7th, the process flow of the first dry line of the condensation drying unit of the project was completed, and all systems were running normally. On November 9th, the process flow of dry D line in the mixing unit was completed, and the extruder was brought to full capacity, and the trial run of the auxiliary devolatilization system was completed simultaneously. On November 10th, the wet process flow of condensation drying unit was completed, and the process flow of each system was smoothly connected. On November 13th, the wet extrusion process of the mixing unit was completed, and it only took more than 4 hours to run smoothly to full capacity. Various data show that the product quality improvement effect is remarkable.
