The ethylene plant enters the oven stage

The reporter learned from Guangxi Petrochemical that the No.1 and No.3 furnaces of the cracking furnace of the company's 1.2 million tons/year ethylene plant extinguished the last burner and entered the natural cooling stage. At the same time, No.5 and No.6 boilers are ignited and heated up. This indicates that two of the seven cracking furnaces in the plant have completed the oven drying work.

In order to ensure that the ignition task of cracking furnace is infallible, Guangxi Petrochemical co., Ltd. made overall planning, meticulously organized and closely linked, strictly controlled the writing quality of scheme and operation card, strictly implemented safety measures, and organized several rounds of scheme review and field deduction. The production preparation department takes the lead in coordinating the steam, nitrogen and other public works systems, completes the ball passing operation after the temperature and pressure reducer is repaired within 48 hours, and creates special pipelines for nitrogen, fuel gas and torch to ensure the stable and safe supply of drying medium. The Mobile Equipment Department cooperated with the territorial units to promote the oven preparation, and completed the key tasks such as instrument joint debugging and calibration, induced draft fan commissioning, and key pipeline purging.

This oven lasts for 179 hours. Through scientific and accurate temperature control operation, not only can the free water and crystal water in the refractory in the furnace be completely removed, but also the castable can be fully solidified, and the performance of various systems and equipment of the cracking furnace can be comprehensively tested, laying a solid foundation for subsequent commissioning.
