The full density polyethylene (HDPE) unit of Dushanzi Petrochemical Company successfully converted chromium series DGDZ6149 into titanium series DMDA8008H for the first time without changing the seed bed. Qualified products were produced in only one day, which greatly reduced the conversion time and efficiently met the demand of the downstream market.  

The total density polyethylene plant is one of the main positions for the production of high-end products by Unipetrochemical. In the early stage of production conversion of different grades, the reactor needs to be emptied and replaced again, and it takes at least 4 days to produce qualified products.  

In order to meet the needs of the downstream market and achieve greater benefits, the company for the first time proposed to try different brands of continuous production.  During the process of production transfer, the technical team of production department adjusted the operation steps of reactor deactivation process, displacement and gas construction.  The on-duty staff carefully adjust the operation, and the technical personnel closely watch the site to timely solve the abnormal working conditions of the device site to ensure the smooth completion of the production process as planned.  

Du Petrochemical high density polyethylene plant can produce single peak and double peak high density polyethylene products, with a design scale of 300,000 tons/year.  The device can produce 82 brands of HDPE products, including 14 typical product brands, and 8 products such as TUB121N3000, HD5502XA and DGDZ3606, which are listed in the brand project pilot brand of refining and chemical plate.  The successful continuous production conversion, in the saved 3 days, can produce titanium DMDA8008H product 1800 tons.
