As of July 8, Lanzhou Petrochemical Company has overcome the influence of sluggish market demand for polyolefin and NBR products and produced a total of 334,600 tons of new materials. The output of new materials reached a record high and the production task of new materials in the first half of the year was completed with high quality. Lanzhou Petrochemical's output of new materials ranks second among China petroleum refining and chemical enterprises.
Lanzhou Petrochemical further intensified the research and development of new materials and products, and vigorously produced a series of products such as metallocene polyolefin, medical polyolefin, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and ultra-high voltage cable material. By organizing product quality research, the rigidity-toughness balance of series polypropylene products for high-rigidity vehicles has been optimized, and the bending modulus has been significantly improved compared with the same period of last year. Among them, the bending modulus of EP408N and EP508N products has improved compared with the same period of last year, which can exceed 60 MPa. By optimizing the process parameters of extrusion granulation system of 60,000 tons/year low-density polyethylene plant, the yellowness index of mPE3010, a metal pipe material, was greatly reduced, and the appearance quality of the product was obviously improved. By optimizing the conversion scheme and polymerization process parameters of 170,000 tons/year high-density polyethylene plant, the product quality and economic benefit of UHMWPE were further improved.
In order to further expand the users of new materials products, the company took advantage of the five-in-one cooperation platform of "production, marketing, research and management", strengthened market visits and customer exchanges in various regions, and timely solved the problems existing in the trial of downstream users' products. In the first half of this year, new materials such as medical polyethylene LD26D, high-voltage cable material 2240H and polypropylene EP100N for high-rigidity vehicles expanded significantly. In the first half of the year, the output of the above three special materials products increased by 54.31%, 110.06% and 283.77% respectively compared with the same period of last year.
