"By increasing scientific and technological innovation and customer management, we have greatly increased the sales volume of J-3080P products, and the purchase volume has increased from 30 tons to 150 tons per month, and the market share in the TPV field has exceeded 20%." Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is the main raw material for producing TPV, which is thermoplastic vulcanized rubber. Because of its unique properties, it is widely used in many fields such as automobiles, electronic appliances, architecture, medical care and so on, and has broad market prospects. Previously, due to the lack of stability, the J-3080P brand products of Jilin Petrochemical Company had a market share of less than 10% in the TPV field, and could only be used in the fields of building sealing, miscellaneous goods and miscellaneous parts, and could not be used in the high-end market.

According to market changes, Jilin Petrochemical has intensified scientific and technological innovation, deepened the research and development of EPDM, changed "product after-sales service" into "technical guidance application", set up a technical research and service team, and deepened the joint research of "enterprise-school-enterprise"; Establish a database of customers' technical problems, focusing on providing downstream customers with services such as formula design, assisting in research and development, and testing finished products to solve customers' production problems. At the same time, the hexane adsorption device independently developed by the company was successfully applied to the production of EPDM plant, effectively removing impurities such as dienes from raw materials, making the performance of EPDM products more uniform and stable, and further improving the quality.

This year, Jilin Petrochemical strengthened its close contact with leading domestic enterprises in TPV field, and decided to implement customized production of J-3080P brand products according to user feedback, so as to provide users with special products. The company's research team judged the technical indicators of the product, carried out production optimization, and successfully solved the technical problems such as compression deformation caused by the use of this product to produce TPV products, so that the product met the performance requirements of automotive sealing strips, and achieved good feedback from downstream users. The sales volume of the product was improved.
