In recent years, Daqing Refining and Chemical Company has successfully developed and produced 51 brands of polypropylene products by benchmarking the advanced product brands of the same industry at home and abroad and actively promoting the differentiated production of polypropylene pipe materials. This year, after in-depth market research and product analysis, the company's sales and R&D personnel found that the market demand for high-end products of PPR pipe materials was strong. To this end, the company sized up the situation, quickly adjusted the production and operation strategy, and turned to tackling key problems, trial production and upgrading the new product PA14D-3.

PA14D-3, as the fourth generation PPR pipe, is an improved product with β crystal form, which can be widely used in the production of all kinds of hot and cold water pipes. The product has been significantly improved in heat resistance, pressure resistance and toughness. According to the industrial standard test, PA14D-3 can be used for 50 years at 90 degrees Celsius and 1.0 MPa, which can improve the pressure resistance by 1 to 2 levels compared with the previous products.

In the process of industrial trial production, according to the characteristics of PA14D-3 products, the company accurately controlled the amount of product additives, optimized and adjusted the reactor activity and temperature, and ensured the product quality was qualified. At present, after the application of this product, the customer feedback is good. "After trial, all the performance indexes of PA14D-3 products have achieved ideal results, which can save about 20% of raw materials compared with the previous generation of PPR pipes."
