During the trial production of the new cable material 22E, the reaction pressure was increased from 235 MPa to 266 MPa, and the production capacity of the device was further enhanced. In 2023, according to the market demand and production scheduling plan, Polyolefin Department produced more than 2,100 tons of seven new products for the first time, such as China Melt Finger Injection Plastic 2445L, China Mooney Chlorinated Polyethylene Type B QL545P, etc. The performance of the products all reached the index requirements, further enhancing the market competitiveness.

Daqing Petrochemical has built a production base of high-end polyethylene materials, focusing on research and development of high-end new products such as medical materials and 35-110 kV cable materials, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and metallocene polyethylene. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin is an excellent high-performance material, which can be widely used in medical and sports equipment and other fields. In 2022, the Polyolefin Department aimed at the lithium battery market in the new energy industry, and produced the special resins UH040P and UH060P for lithium battery separators for the first time, which opened the "channel" for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene products. In 2023, this department made persistent efforts, launched a charge on higher molecular weight products, and trial-produced UH100P and UH150P products.

The particle size distribution of plastic product QL505P in Daqing Petrochemical Company is uniform, and the whiteness of the product is better than that of similar products. In order to further enrich the series of chlorinated polyethylene products and broaden the market channels of high-end chemical products, in 2023, Daqing Petrochemical carried out the industrial trial production of chlorinated polyethylene B-type material QL545P for the first time, realizing import substitution.
