With the increase of new production capacity, the domestic ABS industry has entered a new round of rapid expansion. In February this year, the ABS plant in Jihua (Jieyang) was officially put into production, and the total production capacity of ABS resin in Jilin Petrochemical Company increased to 1.2 million tons/year, ranking second in the country, forming the development advantage of "integrated planning between the north and the south". "We take' high-end general materials+special materials+customized products' as the product positioning, continuously improve the quality of ABS products and go all out to meet the needs of downstream customers." Gu Changhong, deputy manager of Jihua (Jieyang) Branch, said.

Jilin Petrochemical Company set up a quality research team to sort out the bottleneck problems affecting product quality and plant operation, define 8 research targets and implement 68 research measures to ensure the efficient and stable supply of major brands of products. In view of customer demand, the productivity of special materials products was increased, and three new ABS resin products, such as TH191 and HF681, were developed one after another, and the special materials were sold exclusively. Up to now, Jihua (Jieyang) Branch has supplied 350,000 tons of ABS products to South China, which further meets the production needs of household appliances, office equipment, transportation, light industrial products and other fields.

In the face of fierce market competition, Jilin Petrochemical actively develops and produces marketable ABS new material products, which further enhances the differentiation level of ABS products while meeting the needs of customers. Synthetic resin factory insists on scientific production scheduling, customizes the process formula according to users' needs, optimizes the brand switching scheme and operation card, tracks key process indicators throughout the process, and produces ABS new material products with good quality and quantity. In the first eleven months of this year, a total of seven brands of ABS new material products of Jilin Petrochemical Company were recognized by the market, and the output increased by nearly 30,000 tons year-on-year, further consolidating the market position.
