Dushanzi Petrochemical Company vigorously promoted "molecular management" and actively optimized the utilization of components. In the first six months of this year, the production and sales of refined oil reached the highest level in the same period in the past 10 years.

As the main participating unit and practice base of China Petroleum Molecular Management Innovation Consortium, SINOPEC established the first domestic molecular level model of the whole oil refining process, provided an overall simulation and optimization solution for the whole oil processing process, sorted out 32 key tasks from aspects of lean oil refining, optimizing ethylene production, increasing aromatic hydrocarbon production, saving energy and reducing carbon, and effectively put the concept of "molecular management" into concrete work.

Through laboratory analysis, the company's technicians found that the paraffin content in the crude naphtha at the top of the stripping tower of the 800,000-ton/a coking diesel hydrogenation unit reached 74%, which is a very high-quality ethylene cracking raw material. Crude naphtha enters the hydrocracking unit, is separated and extracted into light naphtha and heavy naphtha, and is used as gasoline blending component and reforming feedstock respectively according to the previous use, which does not conform to the concept of "oil is suitable for oil, aromatic is suitable for aromatic, and olefin is suitable for olefin". In this regard, the company optimized the processing scheme, and changed the crude naphtha at the top of the stripping tower of the 800,000-ton/a coking diesel hydrogenation unit into the distillation light hydrocarbon system to recover high-quality naphtha and promote the high-value utilization of resources. After the implementation of the scheme, 5 tons of crude naphtha is converted into the distillation light hydrocarbon system every hour, and 4.4 tons of high-quality naphtha can be recovered. According to the marginal benefit of naphtha, the monthly efficiency increase is 2 million yuan.
