As of March 20th, the nine key research projects set up by Lanzhou Petrochemical Synthetic Rubber Technology Leading Studio in 2023 were progressing smoothly, and the design data of latex stability research and comprehensive utilization of condensate were basically completed. The rubber operation department takes the construction of technology-led studio as the starting point, and vigorously carries out scientific and technological innovation and key research activities around the key and difficult points of production and operation.

Emphasizing product research and development and deepening technology application is the consistent thinking of rubber operation department to grasp technology and seek development. As a major transformation and upgrading project of China Petroleum and Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, it was successfully started on May 20, 2022. The total NBR production capacity of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company reached 100,000 tons/year, which was at the leading level in China. It innovated the high-end development and application mode of new products with "customized products and special processing formulas", and developed new products to increase efficiency by 1.4 million yuan.


Since the beginning of this year, the Rubber Operation Department has taken the goal of building a "nitrile rubber giant", adhered to the market and benefit orientation, and continued to exert its efforts in three aspects: product quality improvement, product serialization development and special nitrile rubber research and development, promoting the development of products to high-end independent research and development and import substitution, and realizing the transition from "running with" to "running with" and "leading" around the production bottleneck and quality improvement of production equipment. The rubber operation department fully stimulates the vitality of each studio to tackle key problems, and promotes and trains personnel by relying on practical academic exchanges, so that creativity can be transformed into projects, projects can be transformed into achievements, and achievements can be transformed into benefits.
