As the main source of hydrogen for the Winter Olympics, North China Petrochemical completed and put into operation two sets of hydrogen by-production projects in less than three months ahead of schedule. The product quality met the two certification standards of hydrogen for fuel cells and high purity hydrogen, which enriched the energy and green of "green Winter Olympics".The high purity hydrogen produced by the company is continuously delivered to the four hydrogenation stations and comprehensive energy service stations built by CNPC for the Winter Olympics, covering Beijing, Zhangjiakou and Yanqing.

For the torch of zhangjiakou venue, part of hydrogen is supplied by exploration and Development Research Institute, and the other part is mainly guaranteed by Hebei Sales Taizicheng hydrogenation station.Hydrogen storage tanks of the torch for the Winter Olympic Games are filled for the first time at taizicheng hydrogen refueling station in Taizicheng, East China's Shandong Province, Jan. 27, 2018."The use of hydrogen torch is safe and reliable, can withstand wind up to 10, even in 100 km/h wind can be stable combustion.This is the first time for the Olympic torch to be filled with hydrogen fuel, and we completed the task with high quality and safety."Taizicheng service area hydrogenation station manager Li Zhijia introduced.

Beijing Golden Dragon Integrated Energy Service Station provides hydrogen for torchbearers in yanqing Competition area and Water Cube (Ice Cube).

Starting from the second half of 2021, Beijing Sales team coordinated with North China Petrochemical, Transportation Company and other units to conduct the whole process of hydrogen charging, receiving, unloading and transportation of the torch in Jinlong Integrated Energy Service Station for many times to ensure the safety and control of hydrogen supply and transportation.

Before the Opening of the Winter Olympic Games, the staff of Jinlong Integrated Energy Service Station of Beijing Sales conducted six rounds of whole process drills for hydrogen supply for the torch, from hydrogen filling in the station to transportation vehicle arrangement, transportation plan formulation and emergency plan, so as to ensure the safe, stable and high-quality supply of hydrogen for the torch.

Transportation companies are responsible for hydrogen energy transportation during the Winter Olympics.To ensure the safe and efficient delivery of hydrogen energy during the Winter Olympic Games, the Beijing branch and hebei branch of the transportation company have made arrangements for the purchase of hydrogen fuel transport vehicles, quality service training, safety emergency drills, and work out distribution plans and security and terrorism prevention plans to ensure the normal and safe supply of hydrogen energy during the Winter Olympic Games.

Taking the opportunity of serving the Winter Olympics, CNPC will make efforts in the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, accelerate the construction of hydrogen energy research and development and supply system, accelerate the construction of a new pattern of multi-energy complementary energy industry, and provide low-carbon clean energy.In addition to supplying hydrogen for the Torch of the Winter Olympics, CNPC will also provide hydrogenation service for hydrogen vehicles of the Winter Olympics with four hydrogenation stations and comprehensive energy service stations.During the Winter Olympics, the hydrogen supply capacity will reach 5,500 kg/day, providing services for nearly 1,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and the mileage is expected to exceed 2 million kilometers.
