The trial production of high melt index fiber was successful!

On February 21st, the polypropylene plant of North China Petrochemical Company successfully produced high melt index fiber, which marked an important step in the field of high-performance resin materials and laid a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale production.

The high-melt-finger fiber developed by degradation technology has the characteristics of high fluidity, narrow molecular weight distribution and low odor, and can be widely used in many fields such as medical and health nonwovens, clothing fabrics, carpet yarns and so on, with broad application prospects and market demand.

North China Petrochemical attaches great importance to this new product development. Technicians and technician teams hold regular seminars, compile trial production plans in strict accordance with the requirements of production control, revise the indicators and parameters of trial production process, and formulate detailed production emergency plans. Check the hydraulic system of cutter, template and feed of key equipment parts, and maintain the vulnerable parts to ensure the smooth trial production process.

During the trial production, the technicians worked closely with the equipment experts of Dalian Petrochemical Company to overcome difficulties together, and kept a close eye on the key parameters such as main motor torque, barrel temperature, heat transfer oil temperature and granulating water temperature throughout the whole process, strictly implemented the operating regulations for adding the degrading agent, and adjusted the adding amount of the degrading agent in time according to the analysis data of melt index. Through joint efforts, 500 tons of qualified products were successfully produced. The successful trial production of this product has tested the company's technical reserve in the field of polypropylene production, which has brought positive influence and promotion to product diversification, market expansion and industrial chain extension.
