On the morning of March 15th, Blue Ocean New Materials (tongzhou bay) Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the production equipment of the high-end polyolefin new material project, which marked that the project officially entered a new stage of comprehensive construction of key core equipment.
The high-end polyolefin new material project is a key project for China Petroleum to respond to the national regional development strategy and deepen its strategic cooperation with Jiangsu Province. It will make full use of the existing resources and technical advantages of China Petroleum, as well as the location advantages and market advantages of "deep water port and vast hinterland" in the Yangtze River Delta region, and realize the technological breakthrough and import substitution of polyolefin elastomer POE and solution full density polyethylene.
The five newly-built units started this time are electrolyzed water hydrogen production unit, ethylene propylene rubber unit, POE unit, FDPE unit and 1- hexene /1- octene unit, and their main products will be widely used in aerospace, medical and health care, automobiles, photovoltaics and high-grade packaging films. It is worth mentioning that the project actively promotes the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and all the newly-built devices adopt the independent technology of China Petroleum.
Since the overall design was approved in late August last year, the project has set a record for the fastest commencement of the 10 billion-level project in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, and has become a benchmark and leading project in the project construction of Nantong City and tongzhou bay Demonstration Zone. According to the unified deployment of the group company, the project is making every effort to promote the construction of the pilot base, and is committed to building a platform for the integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation of new materials in China Petroleum Refining and Chemical Industry, so as to ensure that the project will start in the first quarter and be completed within the year.
