On June 16, in Daqing Petrochemical Company ethylene plant bottleneck and downstream supporting project transformation site, whistles, welding splashes, project construction in full swing. After the renovation of this project, the total capacity of ethylene plant of Daqing Petrochemical Company will reach 1.38 million tons/year, and the ethylene energy consumption of the three units will be reduced to 587.5 kg standard oil/ton, reaching the industry energy efficiency benchmark level, and effectively promoting the high-quality development of enterprises.

Leapfrog into the ranks of tens of millions of tons of refining and chemical integration enterprises, and gradually form a production pattern of "oil and tail, oil and appropriate".


Focusing on the construction of chemical innovation highland, and focusing on the self-reliance of high-level science and technology, Daqing Petrochemical pays close attention to the changes in the situation, tasks and industry competition, creates a "fist product" system, extends the industrial chain system with ethylene and carbon four as the main line, and develops a new material system with high carbon alpha olefin, POE, and high-pressure polyethylene as the focus. Build a CCUS green industry layout with medium and high concentration carbon dioxide large-scale capture and oil displacement burial as a replacement, and fully support the transformation of refining and chemical product upgrading.


Targeted summary of the current development stage faced with the "six difficulties and two high" problems, and solidly promote the "scale development, independent innovation, brand management, lean management, system reform" five strategies. On May 15, Daqing Petrochemical Company's key environmental protection project 400,000 tons/year high concentration carbon dioxide recovery project was fully completed. This project is the first set of carbon dioxide capture project in the refining, chemical and new materials business of the Group company, and is also a key project in the application of carbon dioxide capture, storage and utilization (CCUS) technology in Daqing City. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can directly reduce carbon emissions by 400,000 tons per year, which is of great significance for the green transformation and development of enterprises.


Daqing Petrochemical new 200,000 tons/year ABS plant, the project eliminated backward production capacity acrylic fiber, the use of Daqing Petrochemical's own technology, the production of ABS products with market competitiveness, in line with industry planning and enterprise development strategy. It is expected to produce 100,000 tons of ABS general materials and 100,000 tons of ABS special materials per year. On June 12, the construction area of the upper layer of the silo was 130 square meters, completing 45% of the planned schedule. The project started on April 15, 2022, and is scheduled to be completed on September 30 this year.


In order to further enrich the chlorinated polyethylene product series with high Mooney viscosity and expand the high-end chemical product market, in April this year, the company achieved the first chlorinated polyethylene B-type material QL545P industrial trial production. This product as a new type of environmental protection special rubber, to achieve import substitution. As of June 1, Daqing Petrochemical has produced 42,900 tons of QL505P products, 1,350 tons of QL585P, 1,250 tons of QL565P, and 500 tons of QL545P, respectively, to meet the needs of special customers, open up a new benefit channel, and add enough "weight" for Daqing Petrochemical to enhance market competitiveness.
