On February 26th, the reporter was informed that overcoming the influence of cold wave weather, market shock of refining and chemical products and other factors, the crude oil processing volume of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company increased by 6% in January, and the total output of steam, coal and diesel increased by 18.13% year-on-year, which made a good start for the whole year.

Since the beginning of this year, the low temperature, cold wave and snowfall, the unsmooth product road and the difficulty in propylene balance have brought many impacts on the production and operation of Lanzhou Petrochemical. Focusing on the market demand changes of refined oil and chemical products, the company carefully coordinated key work, continuously adjusted the structure, expanded the market, stabilized operation and increased efficiency. In response to the phased increase in gasoline demand during the Spring Festival in Northwest China, Lanzhou Petrochemical actively coordinated and increased the gasoline allocation plan, and the gasoline output increased by 29% year-on-year to ensure a stable supply in the market. The company efficiently completed the replacement of the heat exchanger E-504 of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit with a capacity of 5.5 million tons/year, the shutdown and cleaning of the full-density polyethylene unit with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year, and the temperature recovery and maintenance of the 8000 nitrogen production unit, ensuring the "stable and long-term" operation of refining and chemical production units such as atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, heavy oil catalyst, ethylene and rubber.

Faced with the centralized release of domestic ethylene production capacity and more intense competition for downstream products homogenization this year, Lanzhou Petrochemical seized the opportunity of Gansu Province to plan and build an important domestic and leading new material industry cluster in the west, strengthened its linkage with relevant departments of provinces, municipalities and district governments, promoted the construction of a million-ton ethylene transformation project, accelerated the identification of chemical parks, strengthened the overall planning of projects, refined the overall deployment, and strived to start construction of key ethylene projects in the first half of the year to enhance market competitiveness.
