According to the national standard GB/T 18252-2020 "long-term hydrostatic strength of thermoplastic materials in pipe form determined by extrapolation", the evaluation meets the requirements of PE100 pipe, which indicates that the scratch-resistant polyethylene pipe material TUB121RCB developed independently by Dushanzi Petrochemical Company has passed the PE100 classification certification.
The scratch-resistant PE100 pipe material has excellent resistance to slow crack growth, which can make the pipe be constructed in trenchless mode during laying, and the laying can be completed directly in the soil by pulling, ploughing and directional drilling without destroying the ground infrastructure, which has the characteristics of time saving, low cost and little impact on the surrounding environment, and is especially suitable for old pipe network reconstruction and trenchless pipeline construction in mountainous areas.
TUB121RCB is the first scratch-resistant PE100 pipe material developed by PetroChina. The certification of the products will further consolidate the market recognition of PE100 pipe materials in the field of polyethylene gas and water supply pipes, and achieve a breakthrough in trenchless and other high-end application fields by virtue of the advantage of high slow cracking resistance, filling the gap of PetroChina's scratch-resistant PE100 pipe materials and promoting the continuous iterative upgrading of pipe material quality.
