Successful first industrial trial production of Lanzhou petrochemical metallocene polypropylene fiber

11:00 on May 28th, the polypropylene plant successfully produced the metallocene polypropylene fiber product, which marked the first successful industrial trial production of metallocene polypropylene fiber material in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, and created a successful historical record for the start-up of similar products in China. it is a key step towards large-scale production of this product, and has accumulated valuable experience for the production of similar products in China.

The Lanzhou Center of the Petrochemical Institute completed the research project "pilot Development of Metallocene Polypropylene Fiber material" in 2018. Relying on the pilot technology formed by the project, major polyolefin science and technology projects were established in the Group Company. This is not only a key project for polypropylene plants to implement the company's new development concept and create high-end characteristic products, but also a key breakthrough to improve quality and efficiency and enhance core competitiveness.

In order to ensure the success of the trial production, Lanzhou Petrochemical Company organized several discussions and studies on the scheme, repeatedly checked the difficult points of process control item by item according to the hardware equipment conditions of the polypropylene plant, and broke through the original process design of the plant. Finally, the trial production plan of metallocene polypropylene fiber was worked out, and the requirements of each scheme were prepared one by one before trial production.
